About The Process
How long does it take to complete a website?
Turnaround varies by package and scope: Essential sites are quicker builds, while Signature and Studio sites, with more pages and customization, take longer. We’ll provide estimated timelines once we review your project details.
1. The Essential Site: 3-4 business days
2. The Signature Site: 5-7 business days
3. The Studio Site: 14-21 business days
What is the process?
Our process is designed to be clear, efficient, and supportive from start to finish:
1. Choose your website package
Visit our Website Packages page and select the package that best fits your needs and goals.
2. Review the Project Prep Checklist
Each package includes a Project Prep Checklist to help you understand what’s needed and prepare in advance. When you’re ready, complete your purchase.
3. Complete the Project Intake Form
Immediately after purchase, you’ll receive an email with a link to your Project Intake Form. The intake form is based on the Project Prep Checklist and will guide you step by step through the details we need to begin your project.
Once your intake form is submitted, we’ll reach out within 24 business hours to confirm details, answer any remaining questions, and officially begin your project.
From there, we finalize scope, confirm timelines, and move directly into the design and build phase.
How many revisions are included?

Essential: 1 revision round

Revisions allow fine-tuning layout, content placement, and visual details.
Does the site include training on how to make updates?
Yes. All websites include basic guidance to help you confidently manage simple updates after launch.
Because we build sites using WordPress and the Divi theme, many updates — such as editing text, swapping images, or publishing blog posts — are intuitive and visual.
Depending on your package, this may include:

For ongoing support, more advanced changes, or hands-on assistance, clients may add a Care Plan or request hourly support as needed.

What platforms do you work with?
Our primary focus is WordPress, and we specialize in building custom websites using the Divi theme.
WordPress allows for flexibility, scalability, and long-term ease of use, while Divi provides a powerful visual editing experience that makes managing your site more intuitive after launch.
If your website is currently on a different platform, you’re welcome to reach out. We’re happy to review your existing site and discuss whether a rebuild in WordPress is the best solution, or if another approach makes more sense for your goals.

We specialize in WordPress websites built with the Divi theme. If your current site is already on WordPress, we can typically redesign, refine, or rebuild it within one of our website packages.
If your website is on a different platform, we’ll review your site and let you know the best path forward. In some cases, this may involve rebuilding the site in WordPress using Divi to ensure long-term flexibility, performance, and ease of use.
Once we review your information, we’ll reach out within 24 business hours to discuss options and guide you toward the best solution.
Content, Design & SEO
Who provides the content and images for the website?
Clients are encouraged to provide their content and images. We also offer content development support in higher-tier packages, and we can integrate stock imagery and/or create customized images/graphics thoughtfully where needed.
Will my website be mobile-friendly and SEO optimized?
Yes. All sites are designed with responsive layouts so they look great on all devices. Foundational on-page SEO setup (using Yoast) is included in every package to help your site get indexed effectively.

- Advanced SEO or optimization
- Ongoing SEO services

Ownership & Hosting
Do I own my website after launch?
Yes — at launch, you’ll receive administrator access and full ownership of your website. Ongoing updates and changes are handled based on your selected hosting or support plan. Edits made outside an active care plan fall under client management, helping keep responsibilities clear and expectations aligned.
Can I update my website after it’s launched?
Yes. You can manage your own updates or choose to add ongoing support with our Care Plan or hourly support Add-On options for help as needed.
Is hosting included?
Website hosting is not included with our website packages and is billed separately as an ongoing service.
If you need hosting, we offer two hosting options:
1. Client Self-Hosting (InMotion)
A one-time setup option where hosting is managed by you after launch.
2. A-List Hosting & Care Plan
An ongoing hosting and maintenance option managed by A-List Design Studio.
Note: Hosting plans are available for websites built or managed by A-List Design Studio. Hosting will be discussed during your consultation, and we’ll walk you through the options so you can choose what feels right for you.
Payments & E-Commerce
What are your payment terms?
Website packages are purchased directly through our website and are paid in full at the time of purchase.
Once your payment is complete, you’ll be prompted to submit your Website Intake Form so we can begin your project.
For e-commerce or custom projects, payment is typically structured with a deposit to begin and the remaining balance due prior to launch. These projects are scoped and invoiced individually.

Do you offer e-commerce or advanced functionality beyond basic websites?
Yes. We offer a top-tier e-commerce website package designed for businesses that need online selling, advanced functionality, or custom integrations.
Because e-commerce and advanced features vary widely based on the platform, products, and business goals, this package is handled on a case-by-case basis.
Do you offer payment plans for website packages?
Payment plans may be available for custom or e-commerce projects, depending on scope and timeline. These arrangements are discussed and invoiced individually.
Can I add e-commerce or advanced features later?
In some cases, yes.
If your site is built with future growth in mind, additional functionality may be added later through a new scope or add-on. We’ll review your request and let you know the best path forward based on your site structure and goals.
